MERCURY Conference 3rd September 2010 "CHALLENGES FOR GLOBAL EUROPE"

MERCURY and the Europa Institute of the University of Edinburgh are pleased to announce a half-day conference on the European Union's role in the evolving global order. The financial crisis, climate change talks, migration, the rise of China and other issues present a host of challenges, and leading figures will reflect on the EU's priorities and capabilities given post-Lisbon restructuring of external policy. April 2010: THESEUS Award - Two calls for aplications 2010

In April 2010, the Franco-German project THESEUS has issued two calls for applications regarding the THESEUS Award for Promising Research on European Integration and the THESEUS Award for Outstanding Research on European Integration. The former is endowed with 3000 EUR for an excellent piece of work of a junior researcher in the field of European integration. The latter distinguishes an outstanding academic record in the field of European integration; it is endowed with 5000€. The deadline for both calls is 31 May 2010.
