MERCURY and the Europa Institute of the University of Edinburgh are pleased to announce a half-day conference on the European Union's role in the evolving global order. The financial crisis, climate change talks, migration, the rise of China and other issues present a host of challenges, and leading figures will reflect on the EU's priorities and capabilities given post-Lisbon restructuring of external policy.
