MERCURY Conference 3rd September 2010 "CHALLENGES FOR GLOBAL EUROPE"

MERCURY and the Europa Institute of the University of Edinburgh are pleased to announce a half-day conference on the European Union's role in the evolving global order. The financial crisis, climate change talks, migration, the rise of China and other issues present a host of challenges, and leading figures will reflect on the EU's priorities and capabilities given post-Lisbon restructuring of external policy. December 2009: MERCURY Newsletter Issue 2

In December 2009, MERCURY has issued its second newsletter. Issue 2 presents MERCURY results such as the first working paper on "Conceptualising Multilateralism" and the online "Glossary of Multilateralism". Moreover, issue 2 introduces the team of the MERCURY project co-ordinator, the University of Edinburgh, and the MERCURY team at the University of Cologne. Issue 2 can be downloaded here.
